MISSION STATEMENT...

Our mission is simple, we believe that Jesus Christ our Lord has not changed one bit since his departure from this world, and we see a lot of things going on in the world, and in the Christian church that indicate that many folks believe he has.  We are commanded to address those issues in the parable of The Watchman...

Ezekiel 3:18  When I say unto the wicked, Thou shall surely die; and thou give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. and...

Ezekiel 3:20  Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. and again...

Ezekiel 33:6  But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. and...

Ezekiel 33:8  When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shall surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

We are called to speak out against things that can lead us to darkness, and to warn others of the results of wrong thinking, and doing.  There is no middle ground on this, and we are told in scripture that we are fully qualified to see these things and make these decisions...

2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

We do not believe or agree with statements like, "You shouldn't criticize your leaders".  We believe that's what America is all about, and we exercise our freedom of speech pertaining to our government and its activities.  We are not ignorant of the fact that we need to pray for these men, and we do, but we do not believe our calling to pray for them includes just accepting whatever they do as right, and deserving of our support. (see the article by W. C. Kisiel "Patriotism in light of the scriptures")

As pertaining to our Christian leaders, we feel the same as we do about our government leaders, we don't believe that our calling to respect and pray for them includes accepting leadership in directions that do not agree with scripture, neither do we believe that just because they are our leaders, that everything they do is therefore right.  Yes, we question, yes we sometimes disagree, but we urge our readers to understand that the underlining principal of our writings, is that we all need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.  We do not hate you if you disagree with us.  We hope that as Christian brothers and sisters you afford us the same attitude.

Let us all pray for the Christian leadership and the Political leadership of our time, they will need it in the days ahead!
