Fair-weather
Friend 1986
In times when you need me, I am always there.
Times when you believe me, times when you don’t care.
Never was there a time child, that you were left alone,
You always have your access to my Graceful throne.
Woe unto The Fair-weather Friend!
Warning for the Fair-weather friend
Do not be ashamed of me, or I’ll be ashamed of You!
Faithfully I’ve fathered you since you left the womb.
And I will never leave you until you reach the tomb.
Even after that I’ll be on the other side,
Waiting to receive you there as my eternal bride
Woe unto The Fair-weather Friend!
Warning for the Fair-weather friend
Do not be ashamed of me, or I’ll be ashamed of you!
How could we be unto the Lord, a Fair-weather Friend?
When all of our sorrows, and heartaches he can mend.
Let us do our diligence now to be to him as true,
Keeping in our memories he died for me and you.
Woe unto The Fair-weather Friend!
Warning for the Fair-weather friend
Do not be ashamed of me, or I’ll be ashamed of you!
